Sliders with balsamic reduced onions

First recipe ever. Nothing too special. Happened to have some morning rolls around the house, so instead of big old burgers, today's dinner is mini sliders. Feel free to be creative with any of these recipes I will be putting up. Be creative, imagine different flavors together, and just try different things!

I don't get how people have the time or mind to take fancy dslr pictures while cooking. I'm such a sloppy cook, so there's no way I'm bringing out any decent cameras to be touched by my greasy fingers. So until I can find the discipline to wash my hands, go get my good camera, attempt to take a good picture, upload and all that jazz, my crappy iphone camera will do the job.

Ingredients

burger patty -
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1/2 chopped small onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
salt & pepper
1 egg

balsamic reduced onions -
1 sliced small onion
fresh ground pepper
drop of olive oil
1 tbsp good quality balsamic vinegar

Directions
Mix and smush the meat ingredients together. Form into about 2.5 inch diameter of patties. Cook on med-high heat non-stick pan or griddle (sliders may be too small to grill) about 3 min on each side. Once flipped on to the second side for another 3-5 min, put a slice of cheese (I just used some pepperjack cheese) and cover with foil for the slider and cheese to finish cooking / melting.

Onions
- all the onion ingredients into a small non-stick pan on med-high heat. keep cooking until onions soften and balsamic vinegar reduces completely (about 5 min).

Finish it off
with some good rolls, spinach, tomato, top it off with the balsamic onions and you're done! enjoy the first one! Again, nothing too special, but how easy is that for a quick and kind of cute / fancy looking sliders?
